Strategy
Our strategy was to deliver a standout kit designed to build excitement for the start of Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale, featuring the brand’s signature yellow to make an immediate visual impact. The kits incorporated trendy spring gifts paired with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale mailer, offering a fresh and unique way to entice and engage audiences.
Through thoughtful gifting and a stunt delivery, the program positioned the Anniversary Sale as a must-experience event. By combining bold branding with unexpected touches, Nordstrom aimed to generate renewed excitement and ensure the sale remained top of mind for recipients.
Design
Recipients received a colorful grocery basket filled with fresh fruit, spring recipes, Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale catalog, and a custom hand-painted welcome card. To amplify excitement, select influencers across the Manhattan and Brooklyn markets were surprised with in-person deliveries of these unique Anniversary kits.
A vintage farm truck, fully branded with Nordstrom and driven by brand ambassadors dressed in Nordstrom attire, was used for the hand deliveries, creating a memorable and sharable moment. Additional fresh fruit baskets, paired with the Nordstrom mailer, were shipped to recipients across the U.S., helping build nationwide buzz around the sale.
