Launch a Detroit Lions Playoff mobile tour designed to engage fans across the state, building buzz and excitement in the lead-up to the playoffs.

Strategy
To amplify excitement around the Detroit Lions' playoff push, Activate facilitated the launch of a statewide mobile tour with stops at key, high-traffic locations across Michigan. The tour will serve as a dynamic platform for fan engagement, community connection, and brand amplification, all while navigating the challenges of a tight planning timeline driven by the unpredictability of game outcomes.
Production
At each stop, fans were immersed in Lions fandom through a series of high-impact activations. Highlights included surprise appearances by Lions Legends, playoff ticket giveaways, and exclusive merchandise prizes such as jerseys and bobbleheads. Every element was thoughtfully crafted to energize fans and create lasting memories.
The tour footprint featured a Dan Campbell Phone Booth, where lucky fans received surprise playoff tickets, and a custom immersive photo opportunity with the Detroit Lions chain, encouraging social sharing and amplifying the event’s reach. Additionally, an oversized inflatable Bud Light can was prominently displayed to highlight key partnership markets, integrating sponsor visibility seamlessly into the fan experience.

Branded Tour Bus
The heart of the tour, this custom 45’ branded tour bus brought the Lions playoff spirit around Michigan.
Custom Interior
A comfortable but luxurious interior for Detroit Lions staff to ride along to each stop and for lucky fans to step inside and feel like part of the team.
Phone Booth
This classic phone booth embraced the grit of Detroit with Detroit Lions inspired graphics and “Villian Era” designs, fans would step inside to hear iconic quotes from Dan Campbell. One lucky fan per stop won playoff tickets direct from Coach.
Photo Opportunity
Embracing the grit of We Want More campaign, this custom photo booth was filled with LED lights in Lion’s Honolulu blue. Fans were encouraged to take a photo illuminated in the energy and share to social media.
2D Logo Letters
A custom fabricated LIONS letters logo sat centrally in the space for additional branding and photo moments for fans.
Custom Inflatable
An 8’ custom Bud Light themed inflatable can highlighted the official sponsor of the Detroit Lions.
Corn Hole
Fun, simple corn hole experience decked out with Detroit Lions branding, for some extra entertainment in the space.
Custom Branded Cookies
Custom Lions cookies provide a memorable (and delicious!) giveaway to draw in guests and make them smile!
