Create an experience at Rocket Classic that highlights community impact, by showcasing how Detroit’s spirit drives Rocket’s efforts and inviting attendees to join in the mission of shaping the city’s future.

Strategy

Through a stage display trailer, lounge, and mini golf game, Rocket’s community efforts were highlighted and put on display for all attendees to see and even interact with. Inside the display trailer was information about Rocket’s community involvement and promises to build a better community. These included a voting kiosk for a grant to be given to a local Detroit resident for a project of their choosing which attendees could read about on the voting platform. Additional educational moments came throughout the trailer to highlight Rocket’s activism and generosity.

Going along the outside of the stage, a lounge was setup for attendees to get out of the sun and recharge their phones. But the most fun for all that stopped by was the mini golf challenge, consisting of a branded loop-de-loop and challenging golfers of all experience levels to get a hole in one.

Production

Activate updated and refreshed a stage trailer to display Rocket’s Community messaging. This included crafting a space where votes could be cast for a local startup, where the impact of Rocket’s community involvement could be shared, and where Rocket could demonstrate how it takes old tech and not only recycles it but uses it to help the community who needs these devices and can still make a life for them.

Accompanying the stage trailer was a lounge to kick back and watch the golfers, and of course the mini golf game where you could show off your skills and try for the hole in one on the loop-de-loop!
