Boost brand awareness and local connection through Michigan summer event activations that showcased the ease of its digital banking tools — ”Making Banking Easy”

Strategy

Activate’s strategy for the Community Choice Credit Union mobile bake shop tour was to deliver an engaging, educational experience that showed banking with Community Choice is truly a “piece of cake.” At the heart of the activation was a bright, inviting cake trailer that drew people in, where guests ordered personalized cake pops through a simple, app-inspired questionnaire that also captured valuable leads. Surrounding elements added playful edutainment and reinforced key brand messages, creating a lively, memorable environment that helped guests connect with the brand in an easy, enjoyable way.

Production

We created a fully functional, visually striking 15’ food trailer to look like an oversized piece of cake that brought the Community Choice brand. Using the brand’s signature colors and iconography, the trailer delivered strong visual recognition and curb appeal at every stop. It was built with practical needs in mind, including integrated cold storage to ensure food safety and product quality throughout the tour.
To elevate the guest experience, Activate custom-fabricated key on-site features such as an oversized cake photo op, where guests could “pop out” of the cake, and touch-friendly signage filled with sprinkles that encouraged exploration and learning.
